Grenfell Tower should have been much, much better.

Grenfell Tower was originally intended to be the hub of a new Lancaster Road North Kensington Village. However it was decided by the Kensington Council of the time that a solution of less expense – therefore quality it was perhaps inevitable – to the whole project was what was needed with, eventually and as we all now know, disastrous consequences.
